This Nova episode is one of my all time favorites
it is very informative in terms of artistic techniques and history of Leonardo
and it is also very informative in terms of the art authentication techniques and forgeries
this story takes you around the world and involves some highly intelligent and talented people to trace the root of this mysterious painting
from the US to Switzerland to Warsaw
it blended the art with science and history extremely well
and is a great tip of the hat to the Renaissance and to the Master Engineer/Artist Leonardo Da Vinci

I especially enjoyed the episode with David Pogue in it.
David Pogue made the episode about the elements fun to watch and not too confusing or boring. It would be a great way to teach young adults in middle or high school. I've watched this episode many times and have been wanting to see more of him - he would make a lot of science more interesting and let people understand why it is so important.
