much more than I expected
I didnt think they could make a show work with Sheen alone/ but they did; with the addition of a few new complementary characters the adventure begins.
Very entertaining and humorous. Imagine Sheen as the smartest person on a planet, uh, lower the bar?
But the graphics and characters are well done, the story line is in a flow with the Jimmy Neutron series, as Sheen maintains his "sheen-ness" in the all new environment.
Overall a very good spin-off.
Worth while for children of all ages,
(note; I nearly never give 5 stars because I rate on a 20 point scale, so '4' is very high rating).
remember: these are TWO shows per ep
The first show is the pilot and is twice as long, the good times continue in the second and third shows, here on a new World with mostly non-human characters the cartoon-ness can go full blast.
Each episode is two shorter shows, but they do tend to flow together.
Interestingly, the Carl character is incarnated as a slug creature, but still the same -- mostly.
The Friendly Child-worthy Fun continues, and as the Genius Jimmy is still on earth, it is left to Sheen to provide the fresh antics.
(note; 4 stars is really a high rating as I use a 20 point scale)
( This is so much better than the violent crud on air-access TV these days, ....)
Sorry to Offend Anybody
I apologize if, by writing this customer review, I am insulting anyone who played a role in creating this series or anyone who enjoys it. As a fan of "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius," the series from which this cartoon was spun off, I figured I would enjoy "Planet Sheen," too, since I always thought that Sheen was one of the funniest characters. However, things just are not the same. The main protagonist is oblivious to the obvious, and the humor can grow annoying. It can become irritating.
